Hawk Island

Due to COVID-19 there are activities and programs that will not take place this year or be delayed.
The playground will re-open on July 1st.  Shelter rentals will be permitted beginning July 1st so long as the gathering does not exceed 100 people and people not part of the same household maintain six feet of distance from one another.

The swimming beach is open for the season from July 4th through Labor Day, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, 7 days a week. There will be no lifeguards and swimming will be at your own risk. We encourage all users to practice social distancing.

8/10/20 Update: the Splash Pad® at Hawk Island is currently closed for the rest of the 2020 season due to mechanical issues.

The following amenities will not be offered in 2020: pedal boat and rowboat rentals and the volleyball courts are closed. The health and safety of our park patrons and staff is of the upmost importance. We appreciate your understanding as we try to navigate these uncertain times, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
