For current winter sports conditions, please click HERE for up to the minute information.  Sled down our two sledding hills, one for little kids, and one for the more daring!  Snow tubes are available to rent for $1.00 for a 2 hour period.  Or bring your own sled.  Please note that toboggans, snowboards, and vehicle inner tubes are NOT permitted on the sledding hill.  Please note, the toboggan run has been closed due to budget restraints.  After you are finished sledding, try cross-country skiing. 

After you have explored all that Burchfield has to offer, come enjoy a hot chocolate and a bowl of soup to warm you back up inside our snack bar. 

Park Hours
The park is open to pedestrian access 1/2 hour before sunrise and gates open at 8am for vehicle entrance.  Sunday through Thursday the park closes 1/2 hour after sunset.  On Friday and Saturday the park closes at 9pm, if winter activities are closed, the park will close 1/2 hour after sunset.

The entire week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day is considered a holiday.  This means if the sledding hill is open, the park will be open until 9pm.  If weather does not permit, the park closes at the usual time.  The parks will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve and reopen the day after Christmas.
