Rent a Rowboat or Pedal Boat

Pedal Boats and Rowboats are available for rental at Hawk Island and Lake Lansing Park South.  Pedal boats are available for rental at Burchfield Park.   Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult on rowboats and pedal boats.  Pedal boats may be rented by individuals 13 and older.  A picture ID is required to rent boats. Rowboats hold up to 4 people and are 14 foot long.  Pedal boats hold up to 4 people. Pedal boat capacity is 955 lbs.

 $5.00 per 1/2 hour - weekdays   $7.00 for the first hour
  
 $6.00 per 1/2 hour - weekends & Holidays   $3.00 each hour after
  
 $1.00 per 1/2 hour - Seniors (60+)    
   

Burchfield Park

*Pedal boats are available on a walk up basis, weather permitting:

Mid-May thru Labor Day
11:00am-7:00pm Weekdays
9:00am-7:00pm Weekends

Labor Day - September 30th
On Weekends Only
9:00am-6:30pm

Hawk Island

*Pedal boats and rowboats are available on a walk up basis, weather permitting:

Memorial Day through Labor Day
12:00pm-8:00pm
The last boat rental is at 7pm and all boats must be returned to the boat rental by 8pm.

A sign will be placed on the rental building indicating the availability of boat rentals and anyone wishing to rent a boat needs to contact an employee for assistance.  If you wish to rent a boat outside of normal operational hours, please call 517-676-2233 in advance to set up a reservation.  Boat rentals will only be available when park employees are scheduled.

Lake Lansing South
