Burchfield Park's Nature Day Camp provides a safe, guided and enjoyable experience in a natural setting. Our Day Camp Naturalists guide campers through a fun and educational curriculum. Camp sessions run Monday through Friday in the summer, and are developed to encourage young campers to become engaged with nature and to provide them with experiences they will share with family and friends.
Campers will explore Burchfield Park's 540 acres - from woods to wetlands and participate in hands-on activities that will help them learn more about the natural world surrounding them. Activities, crafts and games are planned to provide recreational enjoyment while challenging young minds to nurture and support nature.
Enrollment is open to children ages 5-12. Children age five must have completed kindergarten.
Session Fees
Monday-Friday 9:00am to 4:00: $80.00 Resident of Ingham County / $90.00 Non-Resident
Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm: $110.00 Resident of Ingham County / $120.00 Non-Resident

Campers can attend a maximum of two sessions
Each session runs from Monday-Friday
Camp runs June - August
All sessions accommodate campers from 9:00am to 4:00pm
Extended hours (7:30am to 5:30pm) are available every other week in session 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10

Health Form
A Health/Registration Form is required to attend camp. This form must be submitted at least 10 days in advance of camp.
