Burchfield Park

With 540 acres of scenic woods, trails and beach, Burchfield Park is Ingham County's largest park.  Ribboned throughout by the Grand River, this outdoor haven harbors some of the best bank and boat fishing available in Ingham County.  Burchfield Park's stocked fishing pond offers anglers a chance to hook 8-13" trout.  The swimming beach is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays from 12pm to 8pm weather permitting from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  The beach is closed Monday through Friday.

Please note there is a vehicle entrance fee to enter Burchfield Park year round.

Burchfield Park offers a beach, bathhouse, canoe & kayak rentals and trips, cross country skiing & rental, hiking trails, horseshoe pits, disc golf courses, mountain biking trails, nature day camp, pedal boat rental, picnic grounds and shelters, playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, sledding hills, softball diamond, stocked fishing pond, winter snack bar, and a winter warming lodge.
