Located just minutes from the heart of Lansing, more than 1,400 acres of outstanding Ingham County parkland are devoted to sports and recreation.  Enjoy the quiet simplicity of a picnic overlooking Lake Lansing or spend an afternoon looking for wildflowers, hiking nature trails or canoeing along the scenic banks of the Grand River.

Sports enthusiasts can crack home runs at any of the three ball diamonds, toss a ringer at horseshoes, spike a volleyball across a net, dunk a basketball or play soccer at mid-Michigan's premier soccer complex.

Most Ingham County Parks remain open year-round.  Cross-country ski trails and a snow park are available for those who relish the great outdoors in the winter.

From the brilliant fall colors along the wooded trails of the Riverbend Natural Area to the sizzling summer beaches of Burchfield Park, Lake Lansing Park South, and Hawk Island Park, your Ingham County Parks can make any day of the year a play day.
