Park Commission: we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to serve on the Ingham County Parks Commission. This is an excellent opportunity for citizens to become involved in local government. Click the following link to apply:

Trails at Burchfield Park: the trails at Burchfield Park are currently closed to mountain biking. Check back for updates.

Beach Hours: the swimming beaches at Hawk Island, Burchfield Park, and Lake Lansing South are open for the season. Click HERE for more information on hours.

Canoe/Kayak Rentals at Burchfield Park: the canoe and kayak rentals at Burchfield Park are currently closed due to high river levels. Check back for updates.

Pedal Boat and Rowboat Rentals: boat rental is open for the season, with the exception of rentals at Burchfield Park due to high river levels. Click HERE for more information on rental hours.

Day Camp Registration Open: We are accepting registration for summer camp at Burchfield Park for children ages 5-12 years old. Please call 517-676-2233 or click HERE for more information.

Lake Lansing North - Park Improvements In Progress: Upgrades will include the entrance road, restrooms and accessibility. There will be some unexpected park closures along the way and we ask that you use alternative sites to park and access the park during the construction periods of the project. In June or July the park will be closed for a approximately a week, on dates to be determined, as we work on the entrance way. The restrooms will remain closed through July. Port-a-johns are available at both restroom locations. Please stay away from any fenced-off areas while projects are under construction. Check back for updates.

Shelter Rentals: Ingham County Parks have picnic shelters that accommodate 50 to 375 people.  Learn which shelter will best meet your group’s needs by calling the parks office or click HERE to review shelter prices, seating accommodations, and pictures of the shelters. Reservations can be made by calling 517-676-2233 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm (the office is closed at lunch from 12-1pm).

Be a Park Patron! New Fundraiser for Park Pride! The Friends of Ingham County Parks has launched the Park Patron program. You can show your pride in your county parks by becoming an official Park Patron. Click HERE to order your $100 membership, you will receive a large, deluxe parking pass that lets you in to all county parks and shows your pride and helps us do great projects! Your $100 Patrons membership gets you an annual parking pass, a year long membership in the Friends of Ingham County Parks and lets us raise money for exciting park projects!

2019 Annual Park Passes Available

Annual 2019 passes, for Ingham County residents are available for $32.  2019 annual passes are valid from purchase date until December 31, 2019.   Non-Ingham County residents passes are $42.   Annual passes are available at all park gatehouses and in the parks office at 121 E. Maple St., Mason. There is a daily per vehicle entrance fee year-round of $3 for Ingham County residents and $5 for non-residents at Burchfield Park, Hawk Island, Lake Lansing Park-North, and Lake Lansing Park-South.  No vehicle entrance fees will be collected one hour prior to the Friday night Band Shell concert at Lake Lansing Park-South.  Ingham County welcomes everyone to our parks.  If paying the vehicle entrance fee would be a hardship, please ask the attendant to waive the fee with a hardship pass.
