About

Our Mission

The Ingham County Parks and Recreation Commission and Department will provide quality outdoor recreation opportunities and facilities for all segments of our population. We will strive to enhance the quality of life for park visitors and county residents through active citizen involvement, planned acquisition, preservation, and professional management of park lands.

The Ingham County Parks offer year-round activities for its visitors and residents.

More than 1,200 acres of out-standing Ingham County parkland are devoted to sports and recreation. Most Ingham County Parks remain open year-round (call 517-676-2233 for winter hours). Your Ingham County Parks can make any day of the year a play day!
