Holiday Hours: The Administrative office will be closed on January 16th in observance of MLK Day. The office will re-open on January 17th for normal hours.  The parks remain open-for more information on current activities click HERE.

2017-2021 Ingham County Parks Master Plan: the 2017-2021 "draft" Master Plan is available for public review online by clicking HERE or at the Ingham County Parks Department office, 121 E. Maple St., Mason, MI.  Written comments may be directed to the Ingham County Parks Commission, PO Box 178, Mason, MI 48854.  A Public Hearing will be held January 17, 2017 at 5:30pm at the Human Services Building, 5303 S. Cedar St., Building #3, Conference Room A, Lansing, MI.  The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear suggestions and comments from interested citizens who wish to have their ideas and concerns taken into account before the 2017-2021 Master Plan is finalized.

Park Commission: The Ingham County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications for a vacancy on the Park Commission.  This is an excellent opportunity for citizens to become involved in local government.  Click HERE to apply.

Ingham County Parks Master Plan Public Hearing

5:30PM at the Human Services Building 5303 S. Cedar Street, Building #3, Conference Room A, Lansing, Michigan.

Midwest Winter Quidditch Tournament

Burchfield County Park
The tournament will begin with pool play and move to brackets. This is a fantasy style tournament so people are not expected to play with their regular season clubs, it is all for fun!

ASM 5K Run for Autism Acceptance

Hawk Island County Park
This 5K is an event to help raise awareness and promote acceptance of Autism. There will be refreshments and awards following the run.

Mason Optimist Youth Sports Event

Burchfield County Park 
This event will provide a wide variety of outdoor activities as well as prizes, lunch, and t-shirts for area youth ages 4 to 14.

Greater Lansing Kidney Walk

Hawk Island County Park
Great Strides is a fundraising walk to support the services offered by the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Registration for the event begins at 11 A.M.. For more information please visit www.nkfm.org. 
2017 Annual Park Passes Available

Annual 2017 passes, for Ingham County residents are available for $30.  2017 annual passes are valid from purchase date until December 31, 2017.   Non-Ingham County residents passes are $40.   Annual passes are available at all park gatehouses and in the parks office at 121 E. Maple St., Mason. There is a daily per vehicle entrance fee year-round of $3 for Ingham County residents and $5 for non-residents at Burchfield Park, Hawk Island, Lake Lansing Park-North, and Lake Lansing Park-South.  No vehicle entrance fees will be collected one hour prior to the Friday night Band Shell concert at Lake Lansing Park-South.  Ingham County welcomes everyone to our parks.  If paying the vehicle entrance fee would be a hardship, please ask the attendant to waive the fee with a hardship pass.
