Park Updates

Cuisine in the Park ~  Come enjoy an evening fundraiser in the park to benefit Your Ingham County Parks!  Sip on a glass of wine from our local Burgdorf’s Winery or a tasty Michigan Beer.  Enjoy delectable hors d’ oeuvres from Morton’s Fine Catering and be tempted by some exciting offerings in the silent auction.  This years auction will include items from the State Room, Douglas J, Ace Hardware – Haslett, Potter Park Zoo, Creative Wellness, Curves and more! Join us on August 7th from 6:30-9:30pm at Lake Lansing Park South.  Tickets are $45 per person or $80 per couple.  Click HERE to buy tickets.

Canoe/Kayaking at Burchfield Park ~ canoe/kayak rentals are open for the season, weather permitting.  Click HERE for trip times and rental fees.

Swimming
~ Our beaches at Burchfield Park, Hawk Island, and Lake Lansing Park South are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend weather permitting.  Hours vary by park, click HERE for more information.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series ~ Lake Lansing Park South hosts free Friday Night Concerts at the Band Shell concert stage in June, July and August.  All Friday evening performances begin at 7:00pm.  There is free parking and admission, and for the kids, free entry to play on a Moonwalk and Giant Slide! Bring your lawn chair and a picnic and we will see you this summer.  Click HERE for the concert schedule.

Shelter Reservations
~Ingham County Parks have picnic shelters that accommodate 50 to 375 people. Learn which shelter will best meet your group’s needs by calling the parks office at 517-676-2233 or click HERE to make an online reservation.  

  

What You Need to Know

2014 Season Passes Available

There will be a per vehicle entrance fee year-round of $3 for Ingham County residents and $5 for non-residents at Burchfield Park, Hawk Island, Lake Lansing Park-North, and Lake Lansing Park-South.  No vehicle entrance fees will be collected one hour prior to the Friday night Band Shell concert at Lake Lansing Park-South.  Annual passes are valid for one calendar year: January 1st - December 31st.   Annual passes are available for $30 for Ingham County residents and $40 for non-Ingham County residents.  Annual passes are available at all gatehouses.  Ingham County welcomes everyone to our parks.  If paying the vehicle entrance fee would be a hardship, please ask the attendant to waive the fee with a hardship pass.
