Park Updates

Hawk Island Construction Update - The Hawk Island Trail is partially reopened. If you are on the Lansing River Trail and are entering the Hawk Trail from Scott Woods, you can now travel all the way to Cavanaugh Street. If you are entering the park from Cavanaugh Street and head to your left the Trail is open to Scott Woods and the Lansing River Trail. The east side of the trail (near playground and main parking lot) remains closed. A subgrade problem was identified while we were paving and park staff will be working to rebuild that over the next few days. We will keep you posted!
