Park Updates

Hawk Island Construction Update - The Hawk Island Trail is reopened!  A portion of the trail near the playground, heading toward Cavanaugh St., was scheduled for a second layer of asphalt on September 28th, this has been delayed.  Completion will occur as weather permits.  The ground has been too wet to lay the final layer in that area.  Enjoy!  It is pretty smooth sailing out there on the path!

Hiring - We are currently hiring rangers for Hawk Island. Click HERE to apply.

Canoe/Kayak: The McNamara Landing and Bunker Road Landing canoe/kayak trips are available by reservation only, on weekends only - call 517-676-2233 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-4:30pm to make a reservation. The Eaton Rapids Canoe/Kayak trip and in-park walk up rentals are closed for the season. Click HERE for rental/trip times.
