Cuisine in the Park ~ Come enjoy an evening fundraiser in the park to benefit Your Ingham County Parks! Sip on a glass of wine from our local Burgdorf’s Winery or a tasty Michigan Beer. Enjoy delectable hors d’ oeuvres from Morton’s Fine Catering and be tempted by some exciting offerings in the silent auction. This years auction will include items from the State Room, Douglas J, Ace Hardware – Haslett, Potter Park Zoo, Creative Wellness, Curves and more! Canoe/Kayaking at Burchfield Park ~ canoe/kayak rentals are open for the season, weather permitting. Click HERE for trip times and rental fees.
Swimming ~ Our beaches at Burchfield Park, Hawk Island, and Lake Lansing Park South are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend weather permitting. Hours vary by park, click HERE for more information.
Sounds of Summer Concert Series ~ Lake Lansing Park South hosts free Friday Night Concerts at the Band Shell concert stage in June, July and August. All Friday evening performances begin at 7:00pm. There is free parking and admission, and for the kids, free entry to play on a Moonwalk and Giant Slide! Bring your lawn chair and a picnic and we will see you this summer.
